My Dent in The Universe is Helping You Make Yours

Dear small, lean, and agile business owner,
Do you care about your bottom line?
Of course you do.
Do you care about the impact your business has on other people, and the world?
Read on.

I’m Amanda Larrinaga (the Basque girl who said sayonara to the startup world to chase after dreams of her own–more on that roller coaster ride here) and my mission is to bring to you my unique blend of:

To help businesses like you who are specifically in a Growth Phase (we’ll chat about that later) develop an actionable business and/or marketing strategy that will add dollars to your bottom line, significantly grow your business, and help you make your dent in the universe.

First things first. I want to get you PUMPED.

Take a look at what I’ve done for clients of mine:

  • I increased revenue generation up to 55% year after year, which led to funding a new teen outdoor recreation program–a long-term goal of this company. ‘Dreams achieved’ is what I specialize in.

  • I provided strategic support and guidance on corporate partnerships and promotions, including an annual $30,000 cash and social media video contest with Mozilla Firefox Foundation. What did this do? This ecological company suddenly had a much bigger footprint in their niche, all the while protecting acres of land and saving more animals, which were strongly-held values for them.

  • I drove the sustainable growth of an organization’s online donations which increased by 100% in a single year–which meant they finally had room for a bigger staff and were able to take on and handle huge revenue-generating opportunities; making their company very happy.

  • I propelled local news coverage into a viral news story picked up by over 50 local blogs, every major print and television news outlet, and helped to increase annual revenue 10-fold–which helped create a stable enough business to handle massive growth, support a day-to-day staff, and end any worry of how they would deal with such a huge increase in revenue.

  • I improved customer conversion rates by 30% in a single year through service process evaluation and coordinating related marketing efforts. This was a huge win because it helped the business have the impact it wanted, and help even more people.

  • I managed a total website redesign and implementation of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies that resulted in 100% growth in website traffic in the 1st quarter. As a result, this helped them launch into 3 international markets, exploded their growth, and really helped them be seen.

  • I developed and managed a Twitter marketing strategy and content development that led to a 62% increase in organic followers and 90% increase in clicks in a single quarter–leading to a private partnership for a revolving loan fund for underserved entrepreneurs.

  • I developed and managed Facebook marketing strategy and content development which led to 21% increase in organic Facebook likes and 1050% in engaged users in a single quarter. This got the attention of and eventual partnerships with an ebook and an iOS developer to help generate residual income, and increase their presence in a space they were passionate about: education.

Now, that’s a lot of information to take in.

But take this one little nugget:

They all had a strategy designed specifically for their growth. And I was the one who helped them take action on it.

Which gets us into the next thing…

My ‘blend’.

Or, how I bring it all to the table.

When I say ANALYSIS, I mean:

  • Looking at your sales cycle and how you can keep your clients longer and have them buying from you more often

  • Understanding your clients and showing you how to increase conversions, opt-ins, and the systems you can use to improve your customer relationship management

  • Knowing the right tools, software, and apps and recommending them specifically for your business to help you do either one, or a variety of things better than the rest

And when I say STORYTELLING, I mean:

  • Focusing on building deep, lasting relationships with your clients

  • Bringing the client to life by enhancing their experience with you and your products and services

  • Taking the heavy stuff–like technology or industry jargon–and making it accessible to the people you’re talking to

And how does it all fit together?

With a strategy.

And the number #1 problem with ‘strategy’ is that business owners like you don’t know why you need it, or what you’ll get out of it.

Here’s a revealing stat that shows just how important strategy is:

“It’s estimated that 30% of businesses fail in the first year due to a lack of a business plan. – U.S. Small Business Administration”

And a business plan doesn’t have to be 50, or 20, or even 10 pages long.

All I’m saying is that it’s crucial that you have a plan, or:

  • You waste thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of your time on the wrong things, or ‘tactics’. Like ‘marketing to your tribe’ on Facebook all day, and wondering why you don’t get results.

  • You end up copying other people’s strategies and tactics without a reason for doing them–like pouring money into an ad campaign that worked for your competitors, but won’t work for you and your market.

  • You’ll be afraid of ‘too much success’–like a 10x increase in revenue, or 15,000 additional users, or huge funding from a partner…and having no idea what to do with it

The last point there is probably the most important.

You not having a plan and not knowing what strategy would be best for your business is keeping you small.

But I know that if you’re here…

You truly love your clients. You care about your bottom line. And you have a powerful reason for wanting to grow and make an impact.

So let me ask you 2 questions…

Hint: If you answer ‘I don’t know’ to both of them, we are probably a perfect fit. 😉

1) How can you expect to grow and handle your growth without someone who’s an expert in your business and marketing strategy?

Answer: ?

2) How do you expect to move forward if you don’t know what the problems are that are keeping you stuck, and you don’t know what to stop doing and do more of?

Answer: ?

It’s a tough place to be in, if you don’t know the answers to those questions.

But that’s where I come in.

As your business and marketing strategist, I identify your problems and deliver to you customized solutions that work just for you, your business, and your unique challenges.

It’s not fair to say that there’s one way to do things, and I’m sure you’ve experienced other people telling you that ‘one way’–and it just didn’t work for you. Maybe that’s why you’re scared to hire a strategist like me and give it another shot.

But my 10 years of experience in the startup world advising global brands and helping startups launch and lead new markets puts me in a great position to help you lead your market–and really help you make your mark on the world and increase your bottom line.

Both of which are 2 things you identified that really matter to you.

How Do You Know If You’re In A Growth Phase?

There are a lot of ways, but here are the consistent things that will let you know you’re ready to take things to the next level:

  • You are very, very interested in more than just getting by and significantly increasing your profit per year. Maybe with a hard sales goal, or a revenue percentage.

  • You have gotten to a point where outsourcing looks like it’s ‘going to happen’ because you can’t do it alone, or even keep up. Which, by the way, is a really good problem to have. I will help you keep up with ‘too much revenue’, ‘too many users’, and ‘not enough time’ to do something you think you need to keep doing.

  • You need support from an expert because again, trying to do it all alone will have you wearing all of your business hats, and you won’t have time to do what you’re great at. Remember, I want you to be great. Not just good enough, or getting by–because that doesn’t do anything for the people you help.

  • You absolutely need custom solutions for your particular challenges and are sick of being pigeon-holed into the same box every time you work with someone. These solutions are also specific to your market–and I’ve handled a wide range–from e-commerce to renewable energy, and I work with service providers, product marketers, software companies, and both on and offline businesses.

  • You know you could finally breathe and relax if you had a detailed business and marketing strategy (that you can take action on) to engineer your business and brand for success and be positioned as a leader.

  • Oh..and you’re a person (or a small team) who loves what you do, loves your clients, and even though your bottom line is a part of the picture–it’s so much more than that to you.

Just think about it and tell me:

How does it feel when you have no time to create new products or services?

How do you feel when you can’t deliver the high-quality service you know you’re capable of?

How do you think your clients feel–you might care about them, but what if they feel ignored and not taken care of? How do you feel knowing that you might be letting them down?

And how do you feel knowing that the reason why you got into business in the first place–helping your clients solve that 1 problem–isn’t a problem you are the best at solving because your lack of planning and strategy has left you, your time, and your resources in the dust?

Just imagine…NOT feeling that way.

You can feel totally at ease in your business and marketing strategy and know why you’re doing what you’re doing–and the results will show it.

You can sleep better at night knowing that you have direct access to me who has done all of the hard stuff for you–you’re getting the best, customized solutions just for your business. No one will know how you’re doing it all so well–but you will. And you’ll smile because it’s not you doing everything.

And you can really focus on being great–doing the work you know you’re a pro at and finding the best people to do the rest.

I know it’s not magic…but it sure sounds like it, right?

And since I want to see you reaping the biggest rewards yet, and truly connected to your ‘why’ of doing things–I just want you to picture for a sec what it would look like if I helped you reach just one goal.

Let’s say it was increasing your profit margins by 10% (so you have 10% more money after paying employees and other business operations).

What would you do with the extra money?

Serve undervalued communities?

Hire out a job that would save you even just 1 hour a day–an hour that you could spend with your family, or significant other?

Create a scholarship fund?

Fundraise for a cause you wouldn’t have been able to otherwise?

Create systems that give you more flexibility, so you can take that 1 week, or even 2 week vacation that you haven’t had since you quit your corporate job?

Give your clients all of those products and services they were asking for–and now you can afford to develop them, make them, and even add more that they weren’t even expecting?

Get the benefits of the multiplying effect that would have on your business? These things don’t just happen once–they keep growing. Could more money mean that you could invest in creating a life that you love? Like doing all of the things you promised yourself you’d do…when ‘you had more time’?

And even more than that…

Don’t you think that you owe it to yourself, and the people who have committed to you (your employees, your clients, your family) to invest in the very best?

To get the very best results?

To do things for people’s lives and the world that you couldn’t even imagine doing now, in the situation you’re in?

I think that you know the answer.

And I’ll ask you:

What if I were a good friend of yours, and I came to you for advice–asking what I should do if I had the same business problem that you’re dealing with?

What would you tell me?

Would you say that I should try it figure it out on my own–or would you point me to the best person that you knew could help?

And I’m trusting your judgment 100%.

I know that you’ll make the right decision for yourself, today.

If you’re just as pumped as I am, here’s how us doing amazing things for your business goes:

I offer two ways of us working together.

You can do a full-day of highly targeted business or marketing consulting with me–where you come to me with a specific problem and I give you an action plan with a checklist, recommended tools (only for your business), and a recording of any of our video calls and tutorials so you’ll know exactly what to do and how to do it.

You can apply to work with me for 30 days–this is still geared towards a specific problem of yours, but the added benefit is me guiding you on implementation, instead of you doing it yourself. This includes weekly calls and action plans for each week.

Here’s an example of things we could work on:

  • Your sales cycle–why you may be leaving more money than you’d like to count on the table, and what to do about it

  • Your marketing strategy–choosing the right one for your business and how to systemize so you don’t have to do a ton of work

  • Your customer experience–ways to increase satisfaction and more purchases

  • Email marketing–what platforms and software to use, and how to set it up for the best possible relationships with clients and customers

  • Revenue model–making strategic changes that could double or triple your business

  • The right systems to streamline your business and manage all of the parts that you can’t do on your own.
